The ODL Wave was developed by master kite designer Eric Hertsens. Eric tirelessly develops new designs to improve performance with new production methods and materials for better quality and increased life and reliability. His desire is to stay ahead of the mainstream of the industry. Even though these kitess are value priced there is no sacrificing on quality, performance, construction or reliability. This is a top quality kite as good as or better than the big brands. Features include pre-tensioning of the canopy fabric to compensate for future stretching and to keep the profile stable over time; reinforced trailing edge to prevent premature wear and tear; water repellant 50 gr polyester ripstop canopies; UV resistant struts and leading edge built with 175 gr Dacron; segmented strut design; 5Th line safety option with triple attachment points; ABC 500 gram Cordura protected strut ends; EVA scuff guards; CAD deigned for maximum performance and lift; inflatable wing tip struts; extra dump valve for quick and easy deflation; fail-proof line connections; huge de-power range for safety; easy bladder access with stopper balls in every strut; dacron wing tips to prevent self launch wear and tear; 100 mm bladders, and 175g connection reinforcements; all seams stitched and glued; and all bladders are pumped and left overnight to ensure proper seal. All kites come with a zipper-free extra light kite bag, bladder repair kit, and dual action pump.
